I just want to know about MLM businesses, particularly Hai-O. Hai-O Resources Berhad (parent c/o) sells alcoholic beverages, i dare say thats their main source of income. Hai-O Marketing Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary owned 100% by Hai-O Resources Berhad... and it is Hai-O Marketing Sdn Bhd that is involved in the MLM business where thousands of Muslims are members. Based on this basic information, is it halal or haram to be involved in Hai-O MLM.

Hi Mr. Alex. Drinking, selling, buying or even serving alcoholic beverages is haram to Muslims. Even working in a company whose produces or sells alcoholic beverages is still haram to us Muslim. But we don't restrict to non-Muslim to those things I mentioned above. We have Quran and Hadith that explain those matters. If what I said is not properly correct, I hope ustaz can correct and explain it correctly. Thank you
